…was originally conceived by Stan Harrington in February, 2003. On April 11th of the same year the inaugural play, John Patrick Shanley’s Danny And The Deep Blue Sea opened to audiences. All performances in Adler After Dark will run approximately one hour. The Stella Adler Theatre is situated right in the heart of Hollywood at the historic HOLLYWOOD & HIGHLAND intersection, so patrons can still leave the theatre before midnight and enjoy a drink after the show, or head off to the ever bustling and evolving nightlife surrounding the theatre…most within walking distance.Audiences will also appreciate the opportunity of enjoying a relaxing meal after work before heading off to the theatre without the pressure of an eight o’clock deadline. Many regular showtime presentations generally run 2 to 3 hours and also have an intermission. They therefore would still end at a similar time to a short Adler After Dark production.Adler After Dark shows are all handpicked. Preference is given to either well-established, quality plays or original works that we are proud to endorse. Audiences can be assured of a great night of theatre with the many conveniences of a later showtime.
